We are currently looking for two Field Marketing Managers (one in the NY area and one in the Boston area).

The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for supervising the Field Associate team and overseeing marketing and sales activities in our core accounts throughout the market. Be the friendly face of our brand!

1. Hire, train and oversee all activities of the Field Associate (FA) team in the market
2. Coordinate FA schedule to support sales and marketing efforts; drive sales and awareness
    a. Retail blitz – upselling, merchandising, POS, shelf integrity
    b. In-store demos
    c. Manage and support retailer and community events
    d. Dock parties
3. Utilize a 360 degree Strategy to build consumer awareness, drive sales at retail and in local events through education & trial
4. Manage storage facilities, sampling product inventory and marketing tools
5. Drive brand recognition and brand awareness
    a. Drive the Branded Vehicle to Key Events, Demos, and Seeding Opportunities
    b. Develop relationships with influencers and local groups organizations
    c. Seed product and leverage product placement with relevant contacts and opportunities
6. Work directly with our Distributor Partners & Brokers to build displays and increase sales
7. Identify market trends and interpret how those trends will affect the marketplace
8. Weekly recapping of execution to Regional Field Marketing Manager

• BA/BS degree
• DSD knowledge preferred
• Microsoft Office
• Effective use of sales and negotiating techniques

We are also looking for Quality Assurance Supervisor (Englewood, NJ)

Job Description:
• Coordinate all activities associated with raw / packaging material and finished product inspections and testing, development and continual refinement of product specifications, quality problem resolution, supplier compliance, facility sanitation and record maintenance
• Responsible for the activities associated with product quality on all shifts working directly with manufacturing and quality assurance personnel.
• Supervise multiple shifts of QA technicians
• Maintain and calibrate various laboratory analytical instruments
• Maintain HACCP and GMP programs. Update records and communicate non-compliance to Operations and Supply Chain Teams
• Develop SOPs and SSOPs under the direction of the Manager, Quality Assurance
• Maintain pest control program. Communicate directly with outside pest control company
• Assist QA Manager with/responsible for product recall process
• Participate in the weekly plant GMP and sanitation audits under the leadership of the Manager, Quality Assurance
• Lead Operations and Supply Chain Teams conducting customer plant audits
• Maintain records of all lab / on-line testing and manage product retain procedure
• Supervise the testing of all finished products including microbiological testing protocols and external laboratory coordination
• Supervise the testing / sampling of incoming raw materials. Maintain raw material retain samples
• Manage sensory evaluations including set-up and record keeping
• Manage the ‘product hold process’ including resolution
• Foster in-depth continuous interaction with manufacturing management
• Perform all of the foregoing in a food/biochemistry industry environment, in accordance with HACCP, GMP, FDA and OSHA regulations and/or GMP, FDA and GLP regulations
• Collect samples (environmental and food product)
• Inspection criteria and processes
• Work in both wet and dry food/biochemistry production and sanitation operations
• Oversee and direct sanitation procedures in pest control, environmental testing and food plant auditing

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Food Science and 1 year of QA supervisory experience performing all listed job duties in a food and/or biochemistry environment

Related Occupation:
R&D and Quality Assurance Supervisor or any other job title performing all listed job duties.
